Academic Opportunities

Vocational Education

We’re committed to providing our students with high-quality vocational education pathways that align with the needs of local industries and employers. We use aptitude and career assessments (YouScience) to guide students to various career choices based on their interests and skills. Our goal is to provide students exposure to full-time employment opportunities through work-based learning, internships, apprenticeships, and industry-recognized certifications upon graduation.

Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment through Reynolds Community College allows high school students to take college-level courses and earn both high school and college credits simultaneously. It provides an opportunity to experience college academics early and better prepare students for their journey beyond high school.

Honors Courses

Rise Academy honors classes are advanced courses designed for students who demonstrate strong academic ability and a higher level of commitment to learning. These classes often feature more rigorous coursework, deeper discussions, and increased expectations compared to standard classes, helping students prepare for college or competitive programs.

College & Career Advising

Our advisor offers individualized assistance with post-high school planning, including SAT registration and help with the FAFSA. Students also have the opportunity to attend college trips throughout the school year.

Field Trips

Students regularly visit regional sites of interest and enjoy fun, educational excursions.
