Previous work experience

I worked at VCU for 19 years in various administrative roles across multiple departments. Most recently, I was the Student Success and PhD in Health-Related Sciences Program Coordinator in the College of Health Professions.

Favorite thing about working with students

I truly enjoy mentoring students and seeing them realize just how smart and talented they are. A single conversation can have a profound impact on their lives. While I once thought I only wanted to work with college students, I’ve since developed a deep passion for working with learners of all ages, from Kindergarten through college.

When I’m not working, I enjoy:

DANCING! Soul line dancing has been favorite lately. I taught my first soul line dance session this Summer. I am an intermediate level line dancer but I teach beginner line dance classes.

Fun fact

I'm also a "gospel" MIME and I have opened up for Trinitee 5:7 at the Richmond Freedom Classic and Vickie Winans at Richmond Christian Center. I have also taught various mime workshops across Richmond.
