Previous work experience

I worked at VCU for 19 years in various administrative roles across multiple departments. Most recently, I was the Student Success and PhD in Health-Related Sciences Program Coordinator in the College of Health Professions.

Favorite thing about working with students

I truly enjoy mentoring students and seeing them realize just how smart and talented they are. A single conversation can have a profound impact on their lives. While I once thought I only wanted to work with college students, I’ve since developed a deep passion for working with learners of all ages, from Kindergarten through college.

When I’m not working, I enjoy:

Running an art group in Richmond that creates a space for artists to invest time into their craft. I'm also an avid writer, I LOVE hiking , and I own a horse, named Duck, who receives all my love (and money!).

Fun fact

I am an intermediate level line dancer but I teach beginner line dance classes.
